Wow, my first post of 2010, about a month-and-a-half late. I updated the LINKS page with some of my friends' websites (they're a lot better at updating their pages than I am), including my photographer friend/hairstylist's blog, Soft Spot Photography. I did a shoot with him last week and he's put a couple of the photos up. Check it out here and below.

This is a special pre-Halloween post for everyone. If you don't have a costume yet, check out my Halloween masks! feature on GamesRadar to choose from 10 printable masks of your favorite video game characters.

Also, I'm on this week's TalkRadar 75 podcast. And uh, no. I don't say '69'. :P

Lastly, we already celebrated our Halloween at the office. You can check out the pictures here. I also share how to make a Left 4 Dead health pack in under $5.

Happy Halloween.

Been unbelievably busy with a couple jobs and a full-time load at school. Here are some things if you haven't seen them already:

The above video was a silly, quick-and-dirty promo from the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer event I attended in Los Angeles.

The next video is from a Keyboard Cat plays off videogames feature I worked on for GamesRadar last month. I might be a terrible person.

Check out my interview with creative director Matt Horseman of DiRT 2 and racer Ken Block from last weekend in Los Angeles. It's now live on GamesRadar.com!

I just got back today from spending the weekend in LA for X-Games 15 and seeing DiRT 2 at The Standard Hotel Downtown LA, where DC Shoes also hosted their Gold Standard 2009 event. Check out pictures at the links below!

As some of you know, GamesRadar editor Shane Patterson has left for grad school. As a tribute, here's a video we worked on for the website around 2007. One of the most fun times I've had in the office. It's a pseudo-documentary (or do people call those mockumentaries?) called "The Art of Teabagging". Note: The balls are fake, but I guess some employers would deem this video NSFW.

With all the Michael Jackson news going on, I felt the need to update. By the way:

R.I.P. Michael Jackson!

You PYT, you. That said, please check out my new side project with friends Tyler Wilde and Cheryll Del Rosario: Swaggernaut. Feel free to send us examples of what you think is swagger and what isn't. Also, I did Trailer Trash while Joe was out this week. Probably the last time, though, since he'll be back next week. All the rest of the new stuff is in my portfolio. Though I guess it's not really a portfolio anymore. Just a collection of stuff.

Hay guise. I'm still alive. Been really busy lately with work, a new band (we still have no name yet), and other stuff. I'm trying to find a way to integrate my Tumblr to this main page so I don't have to manually update through my archaic ways of handcoding basic HTML into Notepad (yes, I still do that), so if anyone can help with that, please drop me an e-mail or something.

I got published, sort of. Check out my article with Shane Patterson in this summer's Official Xbox Magazine special!

Thanks to everyone who came out to see my old band Sputterdoll play our reunion show and my birthday show at Annie's Social Club! We packed the house! Special thanks to Eric Hooten for doing my hair and taking amazing photos at the show. Here are a few:

Added "Halo Wars in 90 seconds" to the portfolio, which is exactly what it is... a video of the Halo Wars story in 90 seconds for those with YouTube-attention-spans. You should actually read it though, because it's kind of cool. Click here: GamesRadar: Halo Wars in 90 seconds. We also reveal who Master Chief really is!

Today I woke up at the ripe hour of 1:30pm to find a Facebook message from my friend saying "Hey you're on the front page of Yelp!". Much to my surprise, my review of Shabu House on Yelp got Review of the Day for San Francisco and since then my inbox has been flooded and my site has been getting a lot of visitors... which made me feel inclined to write an update. About nothing.

Anyway, that's pretty much it. Thanks for liking my review - I guess now everyone knows my story about awesome shabu and female blue balls.

[EDIT]: Finally updated my portfolio again, but I still have a ton more content to put up.

My site was down for a while because I forgot that in order to have web space, you have to pay for it every month. Whoops. Now that it's back up, I added more articles to the portfolio page, and am in the process of putting up my flyers and other art stuff in there as well. I've been pretty busy with designing flyers again - yeah, who would've thunk it? What's even more unthinkable is my old band, Sputterdoll is doing a reunion show next month. At the end of 2007, Sputterdoll went on an indefinite hiatus due to members doing real-life, grown-up stuff (getting married, having babies, etc. - not me, though!). Now that that's all said and done, we'll be at the Annie's Social Club is San Francisco, CA catering to the 21+ folk again. Anyway, it's the night before my birthday, so it should be a fun show. I think.

Oh yeah, apparently there are free massages from some dude. No happy endings, though.

It's finally a new year and I figured I'd do something with my neglected webspace. I still have a lot more to add on here, mostly on the portfolio section, but you know how things go.
